
Solyanka in a cauldron
Description
This is a simple recipe for preparing solyanka in a cauldron, using any meat delicacies and smoked meats you have on hand. Olives, capers, and pickled mushrooms will give the dish a special piquancy, without which a true solyanka cannot be achieved. Serve the soup hot.

1. First, prepare all the meat ingredients - wash, dry, and cut them.

2. Peel the onions, chop the pickles and mushrooms. Grate the fresh tomatoes in a blender or on a grater. You can also use tomato sauce in the classic solyanka recipe cooked in a cauldron.

3. Pour vegetable oil into the bottom of a cauldron and heat thoroughly. Add the beef and fry slightly.

5. Cut the onion into thin cubes or half-rings and add to the fried meat.

8. Place the mushrooms and cucumbers into the cauldron, then pour in a glass of brine. Bring to a boil and add clean boiled hot water. If necessary, season with salt and pepper to taste.
