Description

Perfect for lunch. Solianka is not an everyday dish, but you can treat yourself to it from time to time, as it is very filling, aromatic, and delicious. To make solianka truly tasty, use only high-quality meat products. Serve the soup hot.

    Prepare all the ingredients for making solyanka.

    Boil the chicken thigh until tender.

    Place chicken gizzards in a saucepan, cover with cold water. Bring to a boil, skim off the foam and cook until tender for 40-60 minutes.

    Strain the chicken broth, add sliced potatoes. Cook the potatoes in the broth until almost done.

    Meanwhile, finely chop the onion and place it in a frying pan.

    Add sliced salted or pickled cucumber. Pour in refined sunflower oil.

    Place the tomato paste in the pan. Pour a few spoons of chicken broth into the skillet. Cover with a lid and simmer the onion with the pickled cucumber for 12–15 minutes.
