Layered chicken salad
Description
For the salad, you will need chicken meat—either breast or thigh without skin; I prefer the latter as it's juicier. You can lightly toast or dry the walnuts for extra aroma. I use homemade mayonnaise with a clove of garlic added. The combination of sweet grapes, cheese, garlic, and meat is very appealing. Be sure to try this salad.

Step 1

Prepare the ingredients for the salad. Boil chicken thighs in salted water until cooked through; it took me 35 minutes. Boil the eggs—9 to 10 minutes is enough for large ones—then cool and peel. Finely chop the walnuts with a knife. Grate the hard cheese on a coarse grater.

Let's proceed to assemble the salad. I have large 300 ml glasses. Place the cooled, sliced chicken meat at the bottom of the glass. Spread mayonnaise over it using a spoon or a piping cone.
