Layered salad with red caviar
Description
A simple dish to prepare. This salad can be served individually to each guest or on a large plate or platter for everyone to help themselves. Use only high-quality red caviar, or salt it yourself at home. Serve chilled.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Prepare the listed ingredients. Boil the potatoes and carrots together in one container, and the chicken eggs in another, then cool them.
- 2
Step 2

Peel the boiled potatoes and grate them on a fine grater. Place into a serving ring or square on a plate. Add salt and spread a little mayonnaise of any fat content in a crisscross pattern.
- 3
Step 3

Do the same with boiled carrots, not forgetting the mayonnaise. Then peel the egg, rinse it in water, grate it on a grater, and place the mass on top of the carrot layer. Salt it and spread mayonnaise on top.

Step 4

Rinse the fresh cucumber in water, trim the ends, and grate it into a separate container. Add salt and let it sit for 5 minutes—this will draw out the liquid. Squeeze the cucumber mass to remove the liquid, then place it into a ring or square shape.
- 5
Step 5

Place the red caviar on the cucumber layer. Garnish with finely chopped green onions and carefully remove the mold.
- 6
Step 6

Serve the salad chilled.
