Layered salad
Description
The salad is quick and easy to prepare. We usually make layered salads for festive occasions, don't we? They can always be made from readily available ingredients and beautifully decorated. Here is a recipe for a delicious and delicate salad that's very simple to make. The original recipe called for green onion instead of arugula, but I prefer making salads without onion for celebrations. It's just too pungent :) However, the home version of this salad can certainly include some onion. Ready to serve.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

We'll peel the boiled potatoes and grate them on a coarse grater. We're preparing 2 servings of salad, so we'll divide all ingredients in half. Place the grated potatoes as the first layer and spread mayonnaise on top.
- 2
Step 2

Slice the mushrooms into thin slices or cubes. Set aside a couple of mushrooms for garnish, then spread a layer of mushrooms.
- 3
Step 3

Now — a layer of carrots, grated on a coarse grater. Spread with mayonnaise.
- 4
Step 4

Cut the ham into small cubes and place it on top of the carrots. Spread mayonnaise.
- 5
Step 5

Finely chop arugula or green onions and place as the next layer.
- 6
Step 6

Grate the hard-boiled eggs on a grater, place them on a plate and spread with mayonnaise.
- 7
Step 7

And the final layer is grated cheese. Place the salad in the refrigerator for 2-3 hours.
- 8
Step 8

Remove the cooking ring. If you don't have one, simply cut off the bottom of a tin can of the desired size (like I did).
- 9
Step 9

And we garnish the salad with herbs and mushrooms. Beautiful? :)
