The recipe won't take much time. You can use any type of beans for Siberian borscht. If you can't consume lemon juice, use table vinegar or citric acid. Serve the soup hot.

Soak the beans for 4 hours, then boil until tender and rinse. Cooking time depends on the type of beans.

Pour water into a saucepan, add salt, and place over medium heat. Bring to a boil. Shred the cabbage into thin strips and add it to the saucepan with boiling water. Cook for 5 minutes.
