Boil the prepared lamb in two liters of water. Skim the foam from the boiling broth and add roughly chopped carrots and a whole onion. Cook for 40 minutes.

Remove the meat from the prepared broth and cut it into pieces. Place the meat into baking pots, add chopped and peeled vegetables, then pour the broth over the top. Add bay leaf, salt, pepper, and butter. Place the pots in a preheated oven for 30 minutes.
