
Shurpa kainatma
Description
A hearty first course. Here is the traditional classic recipe for preparing shurpa kainatma. This dish is very popular in Uzbekistan and Tatarstan, but also well-known and loved in our regions. And why wouldn't it be? It's simple to prepare, incredibly tasty, and looks beautiful in the bowl! Let the shurpa steep, covered, for 10-15 minutes before serving. Good luck!

Wash and peel the vegetables thoroughly.

Cut the lamb into pieces, cover with water, and bring to a boil. Remove the foam and cook until done.

Prepare the vegetables. Cut the potatoes into cubes, the onion and bell pepper into half-rings, the chili pepper into small pieces, the carrots into rounds, and peel the tomatoes.

Add onion and carrot to the ready broth, cook for 25 minutes. Then add potato, pepper, and tomatoes. After a few minutes, add spices: cumin, coriander, salt, pepper, chopped cilantro, and basil. Cook the soup until the potatoes are done.
