Sorrel soup
Description
Hearty and aromatic soup. To prepare the soup, rinse and finely chop the herbs and sorrel. Boil the potatoes, sauté the onion and carrots. Cook everything together — and the soup is ready! Serve it hot, adding a spoonful of sour cream. Ideally, serve it with soft homemade bread, fresh out of the oven. I don't add any unhealthy ingredients to this soup, so it's suitable for children too! I've explained and shown everything. The soup is ready to serve.
Instructions

Step 1

Prepare the ingredients for the soup. Sorrel soup requires a large amount of greens—not only sorrel, but also dill, parsley, and green onions can be added. Boil the egg until hard-boiled.
- 2
Step 2

Chop the washed and peeled onion and carrot. Fry them in vegetable oil until fully cooked. Add salt while frying.
- 3
Step 3

Put the water for the soup on to boil and add salt. Peel the potatoes and cut them into thin strips so they cook quickly.
- 4
Step 4

Boil the potatoes for 15 minutes.
- 5
Step 5

Chop all the greens: sorrel, dill, and parsley. Finely chop the boiled egg; if the eggs are small, use two or three.
- 6
Step 6

Add the fried vegetables to the cooked potatoes.
- 7
Step 7

Add plenty of greens and an egg. Adjust the soup for salt. Simmer the soup for one minute, then turn off the heat. Serve the soup hot with sour cream.
