Herring under a fur coat without potatoes
Description
Perfect for everyday meals. Today, I'm sharing an extremely simple recipe for herring under a fur coat without potatoes. I don't know about you, but I never add potatoes to this salad—they definitely make it more filling, but in my opinion, the taste turns out worse. That's why I always make herring under a fur coat without potatoes; I find it tastier this way. Here's the recipe: 1. Cut the herring fillet into small pieces. 2. Finely chop the peeled onion and pour boiling water over it to remove bitterness. 3. Grate the cooked and peeled beet on a medium grater, squeeze out any excess liquid, then mix with salt and mayonnaise. Boil the carrots and grate them as well. 4. Hard-boil the eggs (8 minutes after boiling), then finely grate. 5. Assemble the salad in layers: first herring, then onion, beet, carrots, and finally eggs. Top with a layer of mayonnaise. 6. Let the salad chill in the refrigerator for a couple of hours. Ready! Serve the herring under a fur coat without potatoes straight from the fridge and enjoy. Garnish as desired and serve.
