Perfect for lunch. This Korean dish will appeal to anyone who enjoys light and spicy soups. The recipe for Sapsu is quite simple, so even a kitchen beginner can easily handle it. The key secret lies in marinating the meat beforehand, so be sure to set aside enough time for this step. Serve the soup hot.

1. First, wash and dry the meat, cut it into small pieces, and place in a deep bowl. Add a little salt, sugar, black and red pepper. Press in the garlic and mix everything thoroughly. Put the meat in the refrigerator for about an hour to marinate well.

2. Place the meat on a heavy-bottomed skillet and sauté over medium heat for about 7-10 minutes. Note that we do not use oil in this simple Sapso recipe.

3. Meanwhile, peel and cut the carrot into small sticks.

4. Place on the skillet with the meat and continue frying for another 10 minutes.

5. Chop the cabbage, peel and slice the onion. Place in a frying pan for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally.

6. Transfer the fried vegetables with meat to a saucepan or pot. Add 1-1.5 liters of water. Bring to a boil, reduce the heat to minimum, and simmer for about 25 minutes.

7. Take some broth and add flour. Stir until the flour is completely dissolved, then pour it into the pot. Bring to a boil again and immediately remove from heat.
