Hedgehog Salad
Description
A simple dish to prepare. We first made this salad for a child's birthday — the kids were delighted and ate it with great pleasure (I'm sure that if the same salad had just been mixed and served on plates, the children wouldn't have touched it, but presented this way, they found it very interesting and fun). We then tried making the Hedgehog salad for an adult festive table — the effect was equally impressive; everyone enjoyed it, praising both the taste and the appearance of the salad. Try making this salad yourself and earn a reputation as a master of creative salads. Serve chilled.

Step 1
Mix the cooked chicken fillet cut into cubes, boiled potato grated on a coarse grater, green peas (without liquid; reserve three peas for garnish), and finely grated egg yolks. Grate half of the cheese on a coarse grater and add to the salad. Add mayonnaise and pressed garlic as well.

Arrange the salad on a dish in the shape of a hedgehog.

Grate the remaining half of the cheese finely and mix with the finely grated egg whites.

We mix the cheese-protein mixture with mayonnaise, then evenly spread this mixture over our hedgehog.

It remains only to decorate the hedgehog: make the spines from olive halves, and the eyes and nose from peas. The "Hedgehog" salad is ready.
