Salad
Description
The salad is quick and easy to prepare. You can make this dish in advance and store it in the refrigerator until serving. Alternatively, you can boil the chicken eggs beforehand and prepare the filling for stuffing the crab sticks. If desired, you may add either green onion or garlic to the filling. The salad is ready to serve.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Prepare the listed ingredients. Buy high-quality crab sticks to avoid spoiling the taste of the dish.

Step 2

Boiled chicken eggs should be peeled and rinsed under water. Set aside one egg white for garnish. Grate the remaining eggs into a deep bowl using a fine grater. Rinse the green onion stalks and chop them finely. Add to the egg mixture along with salt and mayonnaise. Gently mix. If desired, you can add grated hard cheese and crushed garlic cloves.

Step 3

Bring the water to a boil and pour the boiling water into a deep container. Place the crab sticks (in their film) into the boiling water without unwrapping them. It must be boiling water! This allows you to unwrap them without tearing. After 2–3 minutes, remove the sticks one by one, take off the film, carefully unwrap, and place the egg mixture inside. Roll them back up.

Step 4

Do the same with each crab stick, arranging them on a plate to resemble a little house. Place the salad in the refrigerator to chill for at least 30 minutes.

Step 5

Garnish the salad with leafy lettuce or spinach when serving, and grate the reserved boiled chicken white over the top to symbolize snow. Serve the dish.
