Description

The recipe won't take much time. This Winter salad is very similar to what people commonly call Olivier salad. However, in reality, Olivier salad is a bit more complex to prepare and requires more specific ingredients. Therefore, I don't dare to call my salad Olivier, even though we traditionally eat it during New Year and other family celebrations, and instead I name it Winter salad. Although, come to think of it, what does it matter whether you call it Winter salad or Olivier salad? The main thing is that it tastes delicious :) Good luck with the cooking. Serve at the table.

    First, prepare all the ingredients: boil the eggs hard, cook the potatoes in their skins, and the carrots until tender.

    Cut the potatoes into small cubes.

    We cut the carrot into similar cubes.

    Place the carrots and potatoes into a salad bowl.

    Add the peas (without the liquid, of course) to the same bowl.

    Cut the eggs into small cubes and add them to the salad bowl as well.

    Finally, cut the sausage into similar cubes and add to the salad bowl.

    Do the same with the cucumber - cut into small cubes and add to the salad bowl.

    Add some chopped fresh herbs (onion and dill) to the salad to taste.

    Season the salad with salt and pepper, then add mayonnaise. Done! Let it sit and chill for a while, then serve.
