
Beet salad with mayonnaise
Description
A simple dish to prepare. If desired, you can add finely chopped fresh herbs to the salad or just use them as a garnish when serving. Be sure to taste the finished salad for salt and pepper, adjusting to your preference. Serve chilled.

Pre-cook the beets, potatoes, and carrots in their skins in a pot of water. Open the can of peas and drain the liquid from the peas.

Cool the boiled vegetables. Peel the potatoes, beets, and carrots.

Cut the potatoes and beets into small cubes.

Cut the carrots and pickled cucumbers into small cubes as well.

Place the cubes of potato and beet into a large salad bowl, and add the canned peas.

Add carrot cubes and cucumbers there as well.

Peel the onion, finely chop it, and add it to the other ingredients in the bowl.

Now add mayonnaise, ground black pepper, and salt. Mix everything and taste the salad for salt. If needed, add a little more.
