Salad
Description
Perfect for an everyday table. 1. To prepare the "Sugroby" salad, start by washing and boiling the potatoes, carrots, meat, and eggs. If desired, the meat can be replaced with boiled sausage. 2. Let the cooked potatoes cool, then peel them. Grate on a medium grater and spread evenly over the bottom of a flat plate. Season with salt to taste and cover with mayonnaise. 3. Peel the cooked carrots and grate them as well. Spread over the potatoes, gently pressing down with your hands or a spoon. 4. Cut the meat or sausage into small cubes. Place on the plate, season with salt and pepper to taste, and cover with a thin layer of mayonnaise. 5. Let the hard-boiled eggs cool, then peel them. Cut each egg in half and carefully remove the yolks without damaging the whites. 6. In a small bowl, mash the yolks with a fork. Peel and finely chop the garlic (or press it through a garlic press). Mix the garlic with the yolks, then season with salt and mayonnaise to taste. 7. Use this mixture to fill the egg whites. 8. Place the stuffed eggs back onto the salad, cut side down. 9. Grate the cheese—preferably the lightest in color—on a medium grater. 10. Generously sprinkle the salad with grated cheese. Refrigerate for a while to allow the flavors to blend. The homemade "Sugroby" salad is ready. Garnish as desired and serve.
