Description
Minimum effort — excellent result. The "Herring Under a Fur Coat with Sprats" salad will add variety to your holiday menu and surprise your guests with a new flavor. Indeed, the salad turns out completely different. I decided to experiment even more with the taste, so I added eggs. Combined with sprats, it turned out simply perfect. Overall, everyone loved the salad — now it's your turn to try it. Can be served immediately.
Instructions

Step 1

Prepare all the necessary ingredients. Boil the potatoes, carrots, and beets in their skins until cooked. I cook everything in one pot: after 30 minutes of boiling, I remove the potatoes; after another 10 minutes, the carrots; then I continue cooking the beets for another 30–40 minutes.

Step 2

Place the coarsely grated potato on the bottom of a deep plate. Spread with mayonnaise or simply make a mayonnaise lattice.
- 3
Step 3

Then evenly spread the sprats — and again mayonnaise.
- 4
Step 4

The third layer will be carrots grated on a fine grater.
- 5
Step 5

Grate the hard-boiled eggs on a fine grater and place them over the carrots. Then make a mayonnaise lattice on top.
- 6
Step 6

On top, as in a classic herring under a fur coat, place the beetroot grated finely on a grater.
- 7
Step 7

Decorate the salad to your liking.
