Seaweed Chuka Salad
Description
Minimum effort — excellent result. 1. The main process, of course, is preparing the nut sauce "Gomadare" to accompany this homemade wakame seaweed salad. To begin, pour peanut oil into a small saucepan or skillet. 2. Add 3–4 tablespoons of water and place over heat. 3. The mixture should not boil but gently simmer. During cooking, gradually add more water as needed. The resulting sauce should be neither too thick nor too thin. 4. Remove from heat, let cool slightly, then add soy sauce, sesame oil, mirin, and rice vinegar. Mix thoroughly and allow the sauce to cool completely. 5. Place the seaweed onto serving plates and drizzle lightly with the sauce. It's best to serve the majority of the sauce separately, allowing guests to add more to taste. 6. The final touch for this seaweed salad recipe is a sprinkle of sesame seeds. That's it—your delicious and appetizing dish is ready to serve. If desired, you can also add a piece of eel. Serve immediately.
