Salad with croutons and apple
Description
A simple dish to prepare. I really like the perfect combination of flavors in this salad: the sweet-and-sour apple, the neutral egg, and the croutons with salty, strongly flavored cheese. The boiled pork gives the salad its special taste; you can use boiled chicken breast instead, but it won't taste the same. Instead of pork, you can use beef—this makes the salad absolutely delicious. Be sure to try it. Serve chilled.
Instructions

Step 1

Prepare all the necessary ingredients. Boil the pork in salted water until cooked. Hard boil the eggs.
- 2
Step 2

Place a serving ring on a flat plate. If you don't have one, cut both ends off a plastic bottle to make an excellent serving ring. Finely chop the pork and place it at the bottom of the ring. Spread mayonnaise on top.

Step 3

Peel the eggs, separate the whites from the yolks. Finely chop the whites. Place the whites in the next layer and cover with mayonnaise.

Step 4

Next, add a layer of crackers and generously cover with mayonnaise, as the crackers will absorb quite a lot of it.

Step 5

Grate the apple, without peeling, on a coarse grater and place it over the croutons. Lightly spread some mayonnaise on top. The final layer is mashed egg yolks crumbled into fine pieces. Gently press the salad down with a spoon so the layers bind together better. Now remove the serving ring.

This is how beautiful and appetizing the salad turned out.
