Salad with fish and rice
Description
Among all the "popular" salads, I especially love preparing this fish and rice salad at home. It perfectly combines the qualities of a side dish, a snack, and of course, a salad! And if you prefer eating healthy, I recommend slightly modifying this fish and rice salad recipe—use sour cream instead of mayonnaise, and tuna instead of sardines! The rest of the ingredients are quite diet-friendly. Wishing you wonderful success in cooking!

Step 1

1. Let's start with the preparation. Boil the carrots, rice, and eggs, of course in separate pots. Set the eggs and carrots aside to cool, and place the cooked rice at the bottom of a salad bowl.

Step 2

2. Spread a little mayonnaise over the already cooled rice, then add a layer of canned fish on top. It's best to mash the fish slightly with a fork beforehand. Over the fish, add a layer of chopped onion.

3. The next step is to use a grater or blender. Grate the egg whites, egg yolks, carrots, and cheese separately.

Step 4

4. Now, spread mayonnaise over the salad on top of the onions, then add a layer of egg whites and mayonnaise, a layer of cheese and mayonnaise, and finally carrots and a layer of mayonnaise.
