Salad with Chinese cabbage and mackerel
Description
A simple dish to prepare. I like salads based on Chinese cabbage because they are light enough, yet you can add any meat or fish to make a hearty salad. For dressing the Chinese cabbage salad, you can use mayonnaise, vegetable oil, or olive oil, or prepare any sauce. Serve chilled.
Instructions

Step 1

Prepare all the necessary ingredients. Boil the egg hard. By the way, instead of a chicken egg, you can use several quail eggs.
- 2
Step 2

Cut the Napa cabbage into medium-sized pieces; I don't chop it too finely, as I like the ingredients in this salad to be fairly large.
- 3
Step 3

Cut the eggs into medium-sized pieces. Finely chop the onion. Alternatively, you can slice the onion into half-rings and marinate them.
- 4
Step 4

Grate the carrot on a Korean-style carrot grater and add it to the salad.
- 5
Step 5

Flake the mackerel slightly with a fork, just a little, so the pieces aren't too large. I mix the oil in which the fish was packed with mayonnaise—it turns out very tasty.
- 6
Step 6

Mix mayonnaise with the oil in which the mackerel was packed (or simply add mayonnaise) and add to the salad.
- 7
Step 7

Mix the salad, and if necessary, add salt to taste.
- 8
Step 8

The salad is ready. It turned out absolutely delicious.
