Salad with mozzarella and arugula
Description
The recipe won't take much time. For preparing a mozzarella and arugula salad, you can use any additional ingredients. The cheese and greens go well with seafood, fruits, and even meat. I happened to have some mushrooms at home, so I decided to add them. By the way, they don't necessarily have to be chanterelles. Serve at the table.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Prepare the ingredients.

Step 2

Rinse the chanterelles in water to remove all dirt and sand, and trim the ends. I recommend not soaking the mushrooms in water for too long during washing, as they absorb water quickly. This helps prevent the mushrooms from releasing too much liquid during frying.

Step 3

Heat a large skillet well with olive oil, add thinly sliced garlic, then arrange chanterelles in a single layer and add thyme leaves. Sauté thoroughly until the mushrooms turn golden brown. Season with salt and pepper.

Step 4

Slice the mozzarella and tomatoes into rounds and arrange them alternately on a plate.

Step 5

On a plate with mozzarella and tomatoes, place arugula, hot chanterelles, and basil, then drizzle with olive oil and balsamic vinegar. Our mozzarella and arugula salad is ready.
