Buffalo Chicken Salad
Description
A simple dish to prepare. Unbelievably, I first tried Buffalo chicken salad several kilometers above the ground—on a plane. This very Buffalo chicken salad was part of the business lunch served during the flight, and I liked it immediately. It looks very appealing, is extremely enjoyable to eat, easy to digest, and quick to prepare—what more could you want in a great salad? Serve it chilled.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Cut the chicken breast in half so that we get two thin pieces.
- 2
Step 2

In a skillet, melt the butter together with the olive oil.
- 3
Step 3

Sear the chicken pieces until they develop a firm brown crust on both sides.
- 4
Step 4

Remove the chicken from the heat and generously drizzle with hot sauce. Set aside and proceed with the other ingredients while the chicken cools down.
- 5
Step 5

Mix finely chopped blue cheese with processed blue cheese (in the simplified version, you can use mayonnaise or a mixture of mayonnaise and sour cream).
- 6
Step 6

Cut the lettuce leaves and other greens into fairly large pieces and place them in a salad bowl.
- 7
Step 7

Toss the salad leaves with the cheese sauce. Don't overdo it with the sauce, otherwise the salad will be too greasy.
- 8
Step 8

Cut the chicken fillet into pieces.
- 9
Step 9

Add the chicken pieces to the salad. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- 10
Step 10

The salad is ready. ;)
