
Salad with squid and cucumbers

If you are using frozen squid, take them out of the freezer in advance to thaw. Rinse the squid under cold running water.

Clean the squid with a sharp knife, separating the tentacles. Place the squid on paper towels to dry.

Then transfer the seafood to a bowl, add vegetable oil, salt, and pepper. Mix everything and let the squid marinate for a couple of hours in the refrigerator.

Wash all the vegetables. Peel the cucumber with a sharp knife or a special peeler. Cut it into thin strips. Slice the tomatoes into rounds; cherry tomatoes can simply be cut in half.

Peel the red onion and shallot, chop the former into half-rings and the latter into small cubes. Wash the herbs, dry them, and chop as well.

Arrange slices of multicolored tomatoes on a plate. Mix marinated squid with cucumber and two types of onion. Place this mixture on top of the tomatoes. Put cherry tomato halves on top. Sprinkle with herbs. Combine wine vinegar and vegetable oil. Drizzle the salad with this mixture.
