Beet and Fried Cheese Salad
Description
The recipe won't take much time. Choose fresh and vibrant beets. It's best to roast the beets so they won't be watery. Finely chop the garlic instead of grating it; this will make the salad spicy without bitterness. Use a hard melting cheese for the salad. Soft cheeses like mozzarella or suluguni are not suitable, as they will simply melt and run when cooked. Serve at the table.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Prepare all the necessary ingredients for making the salad with fried cheese and beetroot.
- 2
Step 2

Wash the beet thoroughly and wrap it in foil. Place it in a baking dish, add a little water, and put it in a preheated oven. Bake at 200 degrees Celsius for 40 minutes. After the time has elapsed, remove the cooked beet from the oven and let it cool.

Step 3

Cut the goat cheese into slices about one centimeter thick. Pour vegetable oil into a frying pan, heat it up, and fry the cheese on each side until golden brown crust forms—about 2 minutes per side. Remove and let cool completely.

Step 4

Peel the cooled beet and grate on a coarse grater.

Step 5

Peel the garlic and finely chop or grate it, then add to the beet.
