Instructions
- 1
Step 1

We will peel the boiled beet and grate it on a coarse or medium grater. I buy ready-cooked boiled beet from the store.
- 2
Step 2

If you have very hard, dry prunes, soak them in hot water for about 15 minutes.
- 3
Step 3

Then slice the prunes into strips or smaller pieces.
- 4
Step 4

We'll peel the nuts, set aside a few pieces for salad garnish, and chop the rest. You can simply cut them with a knife, or lightly crush them with a rolling pin to make them softer.
- 5
Step 5

Peel the garlic and chop it finely. You can mince it with a knife or press it through a garlic press.
- 6
Step 6

Add prunes and garlic, salt and pepper to the beets. Mix well.
- 7
Step 7

Add mayonnaise and nuts before serving and mix again.
- 8
Step 8

Transfer to a salad bowl, garnish with nuts, and serve.
