Beef and walnut salad
Description
Boil the beef, remove it from the broth, place it in a bag, and tie it closed. Let the meat cool completely to keep it juicy and prevent it from drying out. You can substitute the pickled cucumber with a fresh one to add a touch of freshness to the salad, but a pickled or marinated cucumber gives the salad a more piquant flavor. You may replace mayonnaise with vegetable oil, but in that case, add balsamic vinegar or lemon juice. Season this salad with salt immediately before serving.
