I don't know how this simple recipe for a bean and sausage salad came into existence, but today it's known and loved by many. Of course, there's nothing refined or gourmet about this salad—it's very basic and even a bit coarse. But it's tasty—and that's what matters. It's delicious, filling, and high in calories, and it's also extremely easy to prepare. So, this salad definitely has more advantages than drawbacks. It's perfect for a snack or when unexpected guests drop by.

    Prepare all the ingredients. Cook the beans beforehand until tender, or use canned beans, draining all the liquid from them. Both red and white beans will work.
