Salad with beans and mushrooms
Description
I'd like to point out that you can prepare a bean and mushroom salad at home using either boiled or canned beans. String beans or young green peas would also work perfectly. A light, piquant dressing combined with simple ingredients makes this a great option for a satisfying yet light dish. 1. First, decide on the beans. Fresh beans should be soaked in advance and then boiled, while canned beans should be drained in a colander to remove excess liquid. 2. Finely dice the shallot and place it in a small bowl. Add red wine vinegar and let it sit for about 10 minutes. 3. Then, pour vegetable oil into the dressing, add a pinch of salt, pepper, and a bit of sugar or honey. Mix everything well. 4. Wash the mushrooms, dry them, and slice. 5. Heat a little vegetable oil in a frying pan, add the mushrooms, season with salt to taste, and sauté until cooked through. 6. Finely chop the figs and celery stalk. 7. In a salad bowl, place the beans, followed by the sautéed mushrooms and celery. 8. Pour the dressing over the salad. 9. Top with chopped figs, almonds, and fresh herbs to taste. 10. Just before serving, gently toss the homemade bean and mushroom salad. This is the beautiful result—delicious and original.
