
Watermelon and ham salad
Description
Minimum effort — excellent result. This vibrant salad is best served with a glass of chilled white wine for dinner. The dish takes just minutes to prepare; the key is choosing a ripe and sweet watermelon. Can be served immediately.

Prepare the listed ingredients. You can use any type of ham, and arugula can be substituted with spinach or leafy lettuce.

Separate the arugula leaves and rinse them in water on both sides. Trim the excess stem length, shake off the moisture, and place on a plate.

Cut the red flesh from a piece of watermelon and remove all the seeds, even the white ones. Cut into bite-sized cubes or pieces of any size and place on a plate.

Remove the ham from its casing and cut into portion pieces. Place between slices of watermelon on a plate.

Peel the onion, rinse it, and slice into thin, almost transparent rings. Place on top of the other sliced ingredients. You can substitute the onion with red or green onion.
