Pineapple and apple salad
Description
The salad is quick and easy to prepare. A fruit salad is an excellent choice both for those with a sweet tooth and for people watching their figure. This exotic combination of pineapple and apples is perfect for a festive buffet. Making a pineapple and apple salad is not difficult at all. You can use either canned or fresh pineapple (preferably fresh). Choose larger apples. Walnuts can be toasted in the oven to make them crispier. 1. Wash and peel a whole pineapple. Cut the flesh into rings (canned pineapple can be bought pre-sliced into rings). 2. Peel the apple and cut part of it into small cubes, and part into slices. 3. Place pineapple rings on the bottom of a plate. Cut the remaining pineapple into cubes (set aside a couple of rings for garnish). 4. Dice the strawberries. Then add the apples, pineapple cubes, and strawberries to the plate. Mix if desired. 5. Pour honey over the top. Use fresh, liquid honey, not crystallized. Let the salad marinate (you can even refrigerate it for 10–15 minutes). 6. Before serving, garnish the finished salad with strawberries, pineapple, and nuts, and sprinkle with cinnamon. The simple pineapple and apple salad recipe is ready. The salad is ready to serve.
