Description

The salad is quick and easy to prepare. Simple recipe for the "Happy 8th of March!" salad: 1. Open a can of canned mackerel, pour off half of the liquid, and mash the fish thoroughly with a fork. Place empty olive jars or two glasses upright on a serving plate, spaced slightly apart from each other. 2. Arrange the mashed mackerel in a figure-eight shape around the glasses. Open a can of corn, drain the liquid well, and spread half of the corn over the fish layer. 3. Place grated boiled potato on top of the corn. It's best to grate the potato, carrot, and processed cheese into separate bowls. Spread mayonnaise over the potato layer and season it with salt. Next, add a layer of grated carrot, followed by a layer of grated processed cheese. Freeze the cheese beforehand for easier grating. 4. Spread the remaining corn over the cheese layer. Open a can of sprats or smoked sardines, drain the oil, cut the fish into small pieces, and distribute them evenly across the entire surface of the salad. 5. The final layer will be the second half of the grated potato. Press it down gently with your hand. Spread mayonnaise over the top layer. 6. Carefully remove the glasses, let the salad chill for about 30 minutes, then it's ready to serve. Decorate the salad with grated egg yolk and dill sprigs (resembling mimosa flowers), and sliced cucumbers to resemble twigs and leaves. The "Happy 8th of March!" salad is ready! Enjoy your celebration :) The salad is ready to be served.
