Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Prepare the listed ingredients. Boil the potatoes in advance for 30 minutes and cool them in ice water.
- 2
Step 2

Peel the boiled potatoes and cut them into small cubes. Place the diced potatoes into a salad bowl.
- 3
Step 3

Divide the cherry tomatoes into three parts, wash two of them, and cut into small cubes. Drain the released juice to prevent the salad from becoming watery, then add the diced tomatoes to the potatoes.
- 4
Step 4

Cut the lightly salted red fish into small cubes of the same size and add to the container. If it is well salted, it is better not to add extra salt to the salad.
- 5
Step 5

Rinse and chop the green onion. You can also add chopped dill to the salad, as it perfectly complements the flavor of the salmon.
- 6
Step 6

Place sour cream of any fat content and mustard. You can substitute regular mustard with Dijon or French mustard. Add salt to taste if needed, and mix the salad.
- 7
Step 7

Place a small jar in the center of the plate and carefully arrange the salad around it in the shape of a ring. Remove the jar.
- 8
Step 8

Squeeze mayonnaise from a plastic bag with a corner cut off to draw stripes. Wash the remaining cherry tomatoes in water and cut them in half. Place the tomato halves on top of the salad as a garnish. You can additionally decorate with pieces of smoked salmon.
- 9
Step 9

Garnish the salad with strips of mayonnaise and fresh herbs: curly parsley, dill, and arugula.
- 10
Step 10

Serve the colorful salad at the festive table.
