Description
Perfect for an everyday table. The "Christmas Wreath" salad at home can be prepared with completely different ingredients. The main secret lies in the presentation, so you can use any other favorite salad. In this case, mayonnaise can be replaced with sour cream mixed with mustard. Decorate as desired and serve.

Step 1

1. Wash the potatoes thoroughly and boil until cooked. Let them cool slightly, peel and grate on a coarse or medium grater. Heat a little vegetable oil in a frying pan. Peel the onion and cut into small cubes. Fry in oil until golden brown, then mix with the potatoes. Stir well and season with salt and pepper to taste. Place a glass in the center of a serving dish and arrange the potato mixture around it. Press firmly with a spoon and lightly coat with mayonnaise.

Step 6

6. Sprinkle the top with grated cheese mixed with mayonnaise, then press down firmly so the salad holds its shape well. Wash the dill, dry thoroughly, and place it on top so it completely covers the salad. If desired, you can chop it finely and sprinkle it over.
