Salad
Description
The recipe won't take much time. I love Chinese cabbage—it's delicious on its own, crisp and appetizing. By adding a few vegetables and fresh herbs, you always end up with a tasty, light salad that you can even eat before bedtime. There are many variations of ingredient combinations; today I suggest complementing the cabbage with cucumber, sweet pepper, and adding a spicy note with Korean-style carrots. Dress the salad with oil and serve, optionally with croutons. Serve at once.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Prepare the ingredients. You can make Korean-style carrot at home or buy a ready-made version from the store.
- 2
Step 2

If the carrot is too long, cut it into small pieces and transfer to a deep bowl.
- 3
Step 3

Rinse the cabbage and dry it, removing the outer leaves. Cut the cabbage into thin strips and add it to the bowl with the carrots.
- 4
Step 4

Rinse the fresh cucumber and trim the ends on both sides. Cut the cucumber into small strips and add to the salad.
- 5
Step 5

Remove the seeds and clean the sweet pepper. Cut the pepper into strips and add to the salad.
- 6
Step 6

Optionally, add sesame seeds to the salad, season with salt and pepper, and drizzle with a little vegetable oil. Mix the salad and serve.
