Salad
Description
A simple dish to prepare. The simpler the ingredients in the salad, the tastier it is. Avoid overcrowding the salad with too many ingredients. It's enough to have one main ingredient and a few additional ones, but the salad's flavor should be based on a single product. In this case — fish. Proper presentation of the salad is also important. That's another key to success. In general, check out my recipe. Serve chilled.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Remove the pickled cucumbers from the brine. Cut off the ends and slice the cucumbers into small pieces.
- 2
Step 2

Boil the potatoes in their skins. Let the potatoes cool down (in the skin). Then peel and cut into cubes. If you start peeling the potatoes while they're hot, they will break and crumble when cutting.
- 3
Step 3

Remove the skin from the smoked mackerel. Remove the bones and cut the flesh into cubes. Make sure to clean the fish thoroughly so that no bones remain in the finished salad.
- 4
Step 4

Chop the green onion.
- 5
Step 5

Finely chop the parsley.
- 6
Step 6

In a salad bowl, combine the fish, potatoes, cucumbers, and herbs. Dress the salad with mayonnaise. Mix thoroughly.

Step 7

There is no need to season the salad with salt and pepper, as there is enough salt in the vegetables and fish. Arrange the salad attractively on a serving dish and serve.
