Salad
Description
The recipe won't take much time. 1. The preparation of the "Odesa Kucheryavets" salad is quite simple. First, place the shrimp to boil in slightly salted water. You can also add bay leaf and allspice for extra aroma. 2. Meanwhile, boil the quail eggs. 3. Wash and dry the salad leaves. 4. Place the leaves onto a plate, tearing them slightly by hand. 5. Wash the cherry tomatoes and cut them in half. Add them to the salad. 6. Cool the hard-boiled quail eggs, peel and cut them in half. Place them on the plate. You can substitute chicken eggs if desired. 7. Cool the shrimp, then peel off the shells and tails. Add them to the salad. 8. Now prepare the dressing. In a separate container, mix olive oil and balsamic vinegar. Squeeze juice from half a lemon and add it to the dressing (you can use less if preferred). Mix thoroughly. Optionally, you can also add garlic pressed through a garlic press. 9. Drizzle the salad with the dressing and season with salt to taste. You may also add pepper and some fresh herbs. That's it—the "Odesa Kucheryavets" salad is ready to serve. Serve immediately.
