Salad
Description
In our country, it is customary to prepare a variety of festive salads for New Year's. Every year, in addition to standard salads like Olivier and those with crab sticks, I try to make something special and original. This salad, called "New Year's Tree," is just such a dish. It is interesting both in taste, as it features rather unusual ingredients for traditional New Year's salads, and in appearance—this you can see for yourself in the photo.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Ingredients – only simple, accessible, and clear.
- 2
Step 2

Boil the eggs hard, grate the whites on a grater, slice the yolks.
- 3
Step 3

Slice the mushrooms into thin pieces.
- 4
Step 4

Sauté the mushrooms in oil until golden brown.
- 5
Step 5

Cut the chicken fillet into thin strips.
- 6
Step 6

Zucchini should be cut into thin strips - this is easiest to do using a vegetable peeler.
- 7
Step 7

We also fry the zucchini in oil until golden brown.
- 8
Step 8

Carefully cut off the tops of the cucumbers (we will use them later to decorate the salad), and dice the rest into small cubes.
- 9
Step 9

Cut the apple into small pieces and sprinkle with lemon juice to prevent it from browning.
- 10
Step 10

Cut the tangerine into small cubes (without peel and seeds, of course).
- 11
Step 11

Wash the tomatoes and cut them into strips.
- 12
Step 12

Now mix the sautéed mushrooms, zucchini, and all the chopped ingredients.
- 13
Step 13

From the tops of cucumbers, carefully cut out small, pretty Christmas trees like these.
- 14
Step 14

Place the lettuce leaves on a salad plate.
- 15
Step 15

We dress the salad with mayonnaise and place it on lettuce leaves.
- 16
Step 16

Give the salad a more attractive, rounded shape.
- 17
Step 17

On top, sprinkle the salad with grated egg white.
- 18
Step 18

It remains to decorate the salad with cucumber trees. If desired, you can add other decorations—berries, cherry tomatoes, or anything your imagination suggests :)
