Salad with chicken and prunes

I'm sharing a recipe for "New Year's" salad with chicken and prunes. Cut the boiled poultry meat into small pieces.

Transfer the meat to a salad bowl. Add canned peas to it.

Shred the white cabbage as thinly as possible. Sprinkle it with salt and sugar. Knead with your hands. It's best to do all of this in a separate bowl.

Combine the cabbage with the previously prepared ingredients. Wash the prunes. If they are very dry, soak them in boiling water. Cut the prunes into small pieces and add to the salad.

Dress the salad with mayonnaise or sour cream. Add salt and pepper to taste. Arrange in festive serving dishes. These can be glasses with wide necks or dessert cups like these. Serve at the table.
