New Year's salad
Description
Perfect for an everyday table. I'd like to point out right away that there are several ways to present this dish: portioned using a ring mold, in a shared salad bowl, or with a hollowed center on a flat plate. The recipe for the New Year's salad "Pomegranate" is quite simple, so even a kitchen beginner can handle it. 1. First, boil the eggs (hard-boiled). 2. In a separate pot, place washed potatoes and beetroot. Cook until soft. 3. Peel the onion, slice it into thin rings, and pour boiling water over it. 4. Let the boiled potatoes cool, then peel and cut them into medium-sized cubes. Place them at the bottom of the serving plate. 5. Add a pinch of salt and spread a layer of mayonnaise. 6. Next, add the onion, previously dried off. 7. Cut the smoked chicken breast into small pieces (this New Year's "Pomegranate" salad can also be made at home using boiled chicken fillet). Add another light layer of mayonnaise. 8. Spread a thin, even layer of slightly crushed nuts. 9. Peel and finely chop the eggs. Place them on top and cover with mayonnaise. 10. Peel and grate the beetroot. Mix with mayonnaise and a pinch of salt, then spread evenly. 11. Peel the pomegranate, carefully separating the seeds. Sprinkle them generously over the salad until the entire surface is fully covered. Such a simple yet very appetizing dish! Decorate as desired and serve.
