Salad
Description
Perfect for everyday dining. In Norway, this salad is made not only with herring but also with salmon or even sprats. To prepare the "Norwegian" salad, you'll need Norwegian herring in oil without additives. It's best to dress the salad with mustard oil, but if you don't have any, regular vegetable oil will work too. Be sure to boil the eggs soft-boiled, not hard-boiled. You can substitute capers with small pickled cucumbers. Read on. Garnish as desired and serve.
