Tuna Salad
Description
Minimum effort — excellent result. You can prepare the "Napoleon" tuna salad using either ready-made pastry rounds or regular puff pastry. The pastry layers bake very quickly and won't take much time or effort. This layered salad, soaked in the filling, will long be remembered for its delicious taste. Keep this recipe in mind. Can be served immediately.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Prepare all the ingredients.
- 2
Step 2

Roll out each dough sheet (there are two in my package) and cut into a circular shape using a plate. Prick with a fork and bake in the oven at 200 degrees Celsius for about 7-10 minutes (or until done).
- 3
Step 3

Stack the finished cake layers and let them cool slightly.
- 4
Step 4

The leftover dough scraps can be baked in the oven, then crumbled by hand and used later for decoration.
- 5
Step 5

Peel the eggs and grate them finely.
- 6
Step 6

Flake the tuna together with its juice using a fork and add it to the eggs.
- 7
Step 7

Add the onion cut into cubes (to prevent the onion from becoming bitter, you can pour boiling water over it beforehand). Salt the filling and season with pepper to taste.
- 8
Step 8

Add any fresh herbs, mayonnaise, and mix well. The filling is ready.
- 9
Step 9

Assemble the snack as follows: layer — filling, layer — filling, and so on. The top should be covered with filling. Wrap the snack cake in plastic wrap and refrigerate for several hours; I prefer to leave it overnight. During this time, the layers will absorb the filling well, making the snack tender and juicy.

Step 10

The "Napoleon" tuna salad is ready. I decorated the salad with crumbled wafers, herbs, and cherry tomatoes.
