Victory Day Salad
Description
A simple dish to prepare. For salads, I usually boil the vegetables in advance so they have time to cool down well, making them easier to peel and chop or grate. I boiled a small carrot, but only used half. For more details, see the recipe. Serve chilled.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Prepare the ingredients, let's get started! Peel all the boiled vegetables and eggs. Wash the mushrooms and slice them, and cut the onion into half-rings.
- 2
Step 2

Pour a tablespoon of oil into a frying pan. Add mushrooms, onions, and ground meat. Add salt, and at the end of frying, add ground black pepper. Fry over medium heat until all ingredients are cooked through.
- 3
Step 3

Add grated egg whites and potatoes, mayonnaise to the fried minced meat with mushrooms. Mix well.
- 4
Step 4

Add the grated beet, squeezing out any excess juice. Mix the salad and adjust the seasoning with salt.
- 5
Step 5

Take a round plate, place a glass in the center—this is for the candle. Arrange the salad around it, forming a star shape.
- 6
Step 6

Sprinkle the salad with crumbled yolks.
- 7
Step 7

Remove the glass. Slice the olives into thin strips and grate the carrots on a grater. Use these ingredients to decorate the salad in a ribbon-like pattern, as if tying the star.
- 8
Step 8

Place a candle in the center. The salad is ready!
