Salad
Description
The recipe won't take much time. I absolutely love the "Maria" salad. At first glance, there's nothing special about it, but the combination of ingredients creates a unique flavor. During winter, I prepare it with pickled onions—it turns out delicious as well. Check it out, memorize it, and serve it at the table.
Instructions

Step 1

To prepare the "Maria" salad, you should use several types of ready-to-eat smoked products. I use smoked fish and different kinds of sausage. I cut the smoked fish into fine strips.
- 2
Step 2

Cut the smoked dried sausage into strips of the same size.
- 3
Step 3

Place the prepared smoked meats into a small bowl. Add the canned peas to them.

Step 4

Add crushed walnuts. I simply chopped my walnut kernels, but you can pulse them in a blender (this will be faster).

Step 5

Chop the washed prunes and add them to the salad bowl. For this salad, it's better to use dried prunes rather than smoked ones. Dried prunes are healthier and tastier. Add any chopped fresh herbs to the salad. I only use onion, but the salad will be even better with a variety of herbs.

Step 6

Dress the salad with mayonnaise. Season with pepper to taste. I do not add salt. Serve the ready salad.
