Salad
Description
I know there are countless variations of this salad, so I'm sharing the classic, simplest recipe for "Kurochka Ryaba" salad, though of course you can adjust and enhance it to your taste: 1. Dice boiled chicken breast, peeled and cored apple, and canned pineapple into small cubes. 2. Boil cauliflower until tender, then chop finely. 3. Mix mayonnaise, sour cream, and minced garlic. 4. Soak raisins in boiling water for 10 minutes, then rinse under cold water. 5. Combine pineapple, chicken, apple, cauliflower, and raisins. Add the sour cream-garlic dressing and mix well. Salt to taste, if needed. 6. Mound the salad into a suitable bowl. Decorate it to resemble a little chicken: use raisins or olives for eyes, tomato for the comb and beak, and herbs for wings. Finally, sprinkle crushed walnuts on top—and your delicious "Kurochka Ryaba" salad is ready! I recommend chilling the salad in the refrigerator for at least an hour before serving.
