Instructions

Step 1

Prepare all the ingredients from the list. Boil the eggs and let them cool. For this salad, you can use either hard cheese or processed cheese. I like using "Druzhba" cheese sticks. If you are using soft processed cheese, I recommend putting it in the freezer beforehand.

Step 2

Grate the cheese on a coarse grater.
- 3
Step 3

Peel the eggs and grate them on a grater as well.
- 4
Step 4

Add any fresh herbs, I have parsley and dill.
- 5
Step 5

Pass the garlic cloves through a press. You can add a little more or less, depending on the size of the cloves and your taste preferences.
- 6
Step 6

Add ground pepper to taste.
- 7
Step 7

Dress the salad with mayonnaise and mix thoroughly. Taste the salad and adjust the seasoning. You might want to add a pinch or two of salt.
- 8
Step 8

The garlic cheese salad is ready.
- 9
Step 9

Can be served immediately.

Step 10

Since the salad has a pâté-like consistency, it's quite convenient to scoop it up with a piece of fried dark bread or a crispy toast. Very delicious!
