
Pork Kidney Salad

Perfect for an everyday table. Pork kidneys can be a great alternative to sausage, which is so often added to salads. The kidneys do need to be cooked beforehand, but the result is very tasty. By the way, kidneys are low in calories and considered a dietary product. Plus, it's a budget-friendly option. Garnish as desired and serve.

Prepare the ingredients.

Cut the kidney in half lengthwise and remove the white dense membranes (ducts). Then cut into pieces.

Pour water, add salt, and let stand for 15 minutes. Then rinse thoroughly under a large amount of water.

Place the kidneys in water and bring to a boil. Drain the water and rinse the kidneys. Pour fresh water into a pot, add the kidneys, and bring to a boil again. Repeat this process 3 times.

For the fourth time, pour fresh water over the kidneys; after boiling, the water will be clear. Add pepper, cardamom, and bay leaf if desired. Cook for 20–25 minutes.

Chop the herbs and place them in a bowl. Add garlic pressed through a garlic press.

Add crushed nuts to the greens.

We peel the apple, cut it into cubes, and add it to the salad.
