
Liver salad with onions
Description
The salad is quick and easy to prepare. Only two main ingredients, yet it turns out really delicious! All liver lovers should definitely give it a try. You can use beef or even chicken liver instead of pork liver, but keep in mind that cooking time may vary. This salad works well both as a side dish and as a standalone appetizer. It's suitable for a family dinner or serving to guests—no need to feel shy at all. Give it a try! Tasty and simple. The salad is ready to serve.

Prepare all the ingredients. Rinse the liver thoroughly; if it's frozen, thaw it first. Remove any membranes, ducts, and fatty deposits.

Cut the liver into several pieces, cover with water, and boil for 20 minutes. You might need a little more time—the cooking time will depend on the size of the pieces. Do not add salt while cooking.

Slice the onion into half-rings or quarters. Place on a preheated frying pan with oil.

Sear over high heat until lightly golden. Add 1-2 pinches of salt during the process.

Let the boiled liver cool slightly and slice it thinly into strips.
