Radish salad
Description
Perfect for everyday meals. Although radishes are now sold year-round, they are most delicious in late spring and early summer. And perhaps a radish salad is the most popular dish made from this wonderful vegetable. If you have fresh radishes growing in your garden, or if local markets have started selling homegrown radishes, you simply must prepare a radish salad at least a couple of times for yourself and your family. Here's how to do it. The radish salad recipe is incredibly simple: 1. Take radishes and wash them thoroughly. Cut off the root ends and slice the radishes into thin rounds or half-rings (if the radishes are large). 2. Wash the herbs and finely chop them. I usually use green onions, which happen to grow at the same time as radishes. 3. In a suitable salad bowl, combine the radishes, green onions, and sour cream. Season with salt and pepper to taste. That's it—your simple radish salad is ready! Serve immediately. :) Garnish as desired and enjoy.
