Tomato, cucumber, and carrot salad
Description
The recipe won't take much time. For me, the greatest discovery was that you can add soy sauce to the simplest vegetable salad, thereby diversifying its taste and making it much brighter and richer. Soy sauce perfectly accentuates the flavor of each vegetable in the salad, and there are quite a few of them here. Be sure to try my recipe and serve it at the table.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Wash all the vegetables. Peel the onion, sweet pepper, and carrots.
- 2
Step 2

Cut the tomato into small pieces.
- 3
Step 3

Cut the cucumber into half-circles no thicker than 5 mm. By the way, I recommend tasting the skin of each cucumber before cutting, as it can be bitter.
- 4
Step 4

Cut the sweet pepper into small cubes, but you can also cut it a bit larger.
- 5
Step 5

Finely chop the onion, grate the carrot on a Korean-style carrot grater, and add to the salad.
- 6
Step 6

Mix all the prepared ingredients, finely chop the herbs and add them to the vegetables.
- 7
Step 7

Salt, add vegetable oil and soy sauce. I wouldn't add too much vegetable oil, as the vegetables will release juice and then the salad might turn into soup.
- 8
Step 8

Mix everything and you can serve it, but I'd still recommend letting the salad sit for about 10 minutes so the vegetables release their juice.
- 9
Step 9

Decorate as desired and serve.
